Welcome to Next Step Junior High
Next Step Junior High offers an alternative learning environment that accomodates for a variety of individual student needs. It provides modified scheduling, small class sizes focusing on positive student/teacher relationships, Educational Assistant support, and a safe and caring space for learning. We support students in achieving the best possible core curriculum outcomes, in developing their character, and in preparing them for transition to high school.
The program allows flexibility and additional support for students who:
- are seeking an alternative to traditional junior high program
- would like to attend school in a smaller, one-room school environment with a focus on life skills
- are currently being home-schooled.
Next Step also offers junior high learning through our Home Education programs.
