School Virtues

Over the past several months staff at Next Step have been collaborating to identify core virtues that best represent the education and learning that takes place at our three campuses. Through this engagement process several possible themes were narrowed down. This process then required student and family input.

Recently 146 students and families provided feedback on the virtues or values that Next Step Outreach should prioritize. The most important virtue that participants identified and that will represent Next Step learning is Accepting

Additionally, four other virtues were identified as important; Flexible, Individualized, Respect, and Responsibility

As such, work will be done to incorporate and prioritize these virtues within the Next Step learning environment.
