ApplyAlberta is a centralized online application and transcript transfer service for students seeking admission to undergraduate programs in Alberta.

What is it? ApplyAlberta is a streamlined system that allows you to apply to multiple Alberta institutions and authorize the electronic transfer of your official Alberta high school transcripts directly to the schools you're applying to. It saves you time and ensures your academic records are sent accurately.

Why is it important? Using ApplyAlberta is the most efficient way to manage your applications and ensure institutions have access to your most up-to-date grades.

The most important date to remember is October 1, 2025. Create a ApplyAlberta account to get a head start!

This is the day that post-secondary applications open for admission to the Fall 2026 term. For many students, this marks the official beginning of the application process.

If you are applying to a highly competitive program, such as Nursing, Education, Engineering, or certain specialized programs, it is absolutely essential that you apply as soon as registration opens—at 12:01 AM on October 1st.

Many competitive programs admit students on a "first qualified, first admitted" basis. Applying early gives you the best possible chance of securing a spot.
