We are so proud of the way this school year has begun. Students have shown great commitment in getting started and engaging with their materials, and it’s been wonderful to see the genuine care and encouragement they show one another. Across our sites, families have been active partners, your support and collaboration are noticed and deeply appreciated. Together, we are building a community where learning and relationships thrive.
We are also excited to share some highlights from the 2024–2025 EIPS Annual Feedback Parent Survey. Your voices matter, and the results affirm the strong, supportive environment we strive to create at Next Step:
- My child is encouraged to do their best: 100% of parents and caregivers strongly agree or agree (72.45% strongly agree, 27.55% agree).
- How satisfied are you with the quality of education your child is receiving at school? 96.9% strongly satisfied or satisfied (70.10% strongly satisfied, 26.80% satisfied).
- How satisfied are you with the quality of teaching at your child’s school? 96.9% strongly satisfied or satisfied (72.16% strongly satisfied, 24.74% satisfied).
These results are a reflection of the partnership between students, families, and staff. Thank you for the trust you place in us and for being such an important part of the Next Step community.
As always, remember our motto: “Small steps are still progress.” Together, each of those steps leads to incredible growth.
With appreciation,
Principal Mr. B. Spady, Assistant Principals Ms. D. Bennett & Mr. R. Davies
Meet the Teacher- We are excited to invite all families to our upcoming drop in Meet the Teacher event on September 16 from 3:00–5:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your child’s teachers, learn more about classroom expectations, and explore how we can work together to support student success this year. These are intended to be high level conversations and bring awareness how we work with students & families. At Next Step, we know that strong relationships between home and school make a powerful difference. We look forward to seeing you, sharing updates about the year ahead, and answering any questions you may have. See you Tuesday!
