NSO Weekly June 3-8

Hey all, see the link for the NSO Weekly June 3-8 Motto: Small steps are still progress!

We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Hard to believe we are into June and graduation week! As of Monday, there are only 11 instructional days remaining in semester 2. As such, it is important students be onsite to complete remaining assessments over the next couple weeks. Reminder Wednesday is early dismissal 2:10 p.m. as the first Wednesday of the month. Please note that we will be closing all Next Step campus locations at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday to accommodate our graduation event. The Graduation 2024 ceremony is at the DOW Centre in Fort Saskatchewan.

We appreciate the opportunity to engage, interact, and support all families. Our Next Step vision is to create a community of learners who embody the virtues of acceptance, flexibility, individualization, respect, and responsibility. We are excited you are part of our alternative learning environment. Have a great week!

Valedictorian 2024- We are thrilled to announce that Jada Boychuk will be representing Next Step and the Graduating Class of 2024 as our Valedictorian. Jada has demonstrated exceptional academic achievement, leadership, and dedication throughout her time with us. This honor reflects Jada's hard work and the unwavering support from our wonderful community. Please join us in congratulating Jada on this outstanding accomplishment. We look forward to celebrating with you all at the graduation ceremony Thursday, June 6.

Textbook Return- Students are reminded that all textbooks must be returned to teachers or school staff by June 21. Ensure that all books are in good condition and returned on time to avoid any fines or replacement fees. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
