Summer School

Summer School 2024

Registration is NOW OPEN!  Current EIPS students, please register through the PowerSchool Parent Portal (Select "Student Fees")  Non-current EIPS students that have an approved registration to an EIPS school for the 2024-25 school year, please register with Student Quick Pay  Registration Closes June 24.

4-week and 2-week sessions are available

Full Session 4-week classes: July 2-26

Session 1:  July 2-12  (8:30am-1:30pm)

Session 2:  July 15-26 (8:30 am-1:00pm)

Students can register in up to 10 credits however they can only register for one in person class.  Daily attendance is mandatory for all in person classes.

Classes are held at Bev Facey Community High School in Sherwood Park

Phys. Ed classes are also held at Salisbury Composite High School and Bev Facey.  *Update: Phys Ed Session 1 @ SAL is now CLOSED  *Phys Ed Session 2 @ BFH is now CLOSED*

In-person and Online course offerings

$80 refundable deposit applies to all courses (with the exception of Foundations course deposit of $200).  Refunds will not apply to registrations that withdraw after June 24, 2024.  Textbooks must be returned upon completion of the course.  If textbooks are not returned, the value of the textbook fee will be added to the PowerSchool Parent Portal account. (30 level courses have until end of the day August 9, 2024 to return textbooks due to diplomas.)  CALM and Phys Ed have non-refundable Activity Fees.

Registration is open to:
- current EIPS students (grades 9-12)
- students who will enter an EIPS high school for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Students outside the Division should contact their current school board to inquire about programs available to them.

BUSSING FROM FORT SASKATCHEWAN TO BEV FACEY IS AVAILABLE!  Pick up is at Fort Saskatchewan High School at 7:45 am Monday-Friday. Session 1 drop off time is 2:15 pm at Fort Saskatchewan High School.  Session 2 drop off time is 1:45 pm at Fort Saskatchewan High School.  4 week bussing cost $175.  2 week bussing cost is $100.  Drop off is to Bev Facey only.

Students enrolled in Summer School can expect to receive instruction that incorporates universal strategies and supports, with the understanding that more targeted and specialized supports identified in an Instructional Support Plan are prioritized during the regular school year.
